About La Palma, Canary Islands

Yorkshire born and bred, now living on one of the smaller and unspoilt Canary Islands, La Palma.

We live in a rural location - where there are more goats than people - and keep busy by renting out our little Canarian cottage, along with bed and breakfast accommodation. We also have two acres of land mainly terraced with fig trees, but also attempt to grow vegetables. Six chickens and a cat called Pancho are the rest of our little family. During quiet moments, there is always reading to the children in the village school (where there is a grand total of nine children), swimming, walking and writing 'the book.'

Through blip, I hope to make an informal photo-diary of what we get up to here, otherwise, I have no idea where the time goes - or maybe it is just my memory! And also some of the beautiful scenes that surround us.
