this is a glimpse of my life. i try each day to filter everything through someone else's needs. i am absolutely crazy in love with Jesus and am learning each day how to love a little bit more. mother theresa said to love until it hurts, and then love more. i just spent a semester living on a homestead in rural Swaziland, Africa. i met some of the most amazing people in the world as well as some of the most messed up people in the world. i experienced some of the deepest love right beside some of the most heart wrenching pain. i learned how to sacrifice. i learned how to trust. i learned that we can make a difference and that love truly does surpass all else.

someday i hope to return to Africa. this time for good. i wish to align my passion for photography with my love for helping people. i wish to use my photos to raise awareness of the AIDS pandemic stealing lives of millions in Africa. i want to provide a bit of hope for so many who feel completely hopeless. this is my life.
