The fool on the hill

Saturday 13 March 2010: Don't look down.

A nod toward Frankimage.
I've been up a ladder doing maintenance stuff. This wasn't the view from the ladder though - it's from the safety of the attic bedroom - but I do have to get up here some time this year to reinstate the chimney. I'm not much looking forward to it. It was bad enough 10 foot up on the kitchen extension roof today. I nearly had kittens.

  1. cool - looks like you could just pick up that beetle car!

  2. Ooh, love this! I'm getting completely addicted to these tilt-shifts. You found a perfect height and angle here. It is great to look at all these details in this shot (the car in the front, the fence and the smoke coming from the chimney). So real but unreal. Thank you! 5/5 and a fav.

  3. This is so cool :)
    Love the angle!!
It almost looks like a miniature.

  4. Nicely executed. I read somewhere that these work best when the sun casts shadows all over the place. Good luck with that.

  5. Nice tiltshifting. Works well with the bright red brick of the houses and that silver beetle is in exactly the right place.
