Saturday 31 January 2009: Kentucky Ice Storm 2009
I'm back! I've been away for about 8 months due to a move from Canada to Kentucky and the lack of new and interesting things to shoot. We have been home bound for the last 5 days due to a major ice store that arrived on Tue. We were lucky that we only lost power for a little more then 24 hours. Some people may not have power restored for another 2 weeks. I took this picture about an hour after the melting phase began. So many people have had trees damaged or lost due to the amount of ice.
