I think civilization is a fight against oblivion. Any picture is a bullet in that fight. I'm fifty-one. one day gone. It's nice if these pictures remain.

As my viewers full well know, I'm a cat blipper, unrepentant, unashamed. The cat is the only subject where my urge for photographic perfection manifests. It's possibly the only genre where I could aim for any recognition. I truly love them cats.

Another subject of passion could be old cars and motorcycles, preferably from the decades of my childhood and youth (50s-60s.) Show me a Tatraplan car or a Velocette Thruxton motorbike and I'll spend two hours lovingly shooting it from all angles.

I think digital photography is one of the greatest revolutions in human history. Any one of us can leave behind thousands of personal views and documents. We won't be so gone after we're gone.
