Monday 30 June 2008: Smoke, wood & bread ...
Woke up to the smell of smoke today & water bombers & helicopters flying over like it was the London bombing blitz. Set up outside as the temperature was getting close 30°C with a 26% humidity & 54 forest fires burning in this area of the province. Spent most of the day working on the carving & baking bread. Bread turned out good in spite of the missing ingredients... ie: salt. As did the carving of the fins for my latest trout project. Captured quite photos of the bombers flying over to reload with the fire retardents & was going to use one for today's Blip but decided on this one . While I was out with Molly, The Princess Chiuhuahua for her evening walk I came across this rabbit's foot . No sign of the rest of the rabbit though ...
