The Visitor Fern

This fern turned up three years ago and ever since it arrived I've called it The Visitor Fern. I was trying to differentiate it from our planted ferns and said "you know, the visitor, down the side of the porch" and it stuck, one of those funny things. I think maybe because I feel it is just visiting and it might up and leave one day. It's in a really awkward corner to photograph, right up against the east side porch wall and a gate and fence. I really like this fern, each year when it regrows I am happy to see it.
