Tuesday 3 August 2010: the world around me
Work was very busy. Working under the guy in charge of operations has been great. We talked about politics and accounting over lunch. He told me they had never ever been this busy. This is good news and a sign I am doing something right. However, there is still much to be done and time is running out. School starts again soon. Apart of me is starting to think I do more good at work than at school where my money will just get eaten.
After work I went for a walk.

Learning is food for your brain and soul. You need it for growth, and I believe for your happiness too. One works hard to produce food in a farm... or you may par for it, as you often do for good schools. I hope you enjoy having your money "eaten" in this manner, at least as you enjoy good yummy food.
