Odd Days

Wednesday 17 March 2010: Bare Feet

It's over 50 degrees today. Girly felt the need to roll up the pants and run in the grass with bare feet.

  1. Good job! What fun.

  2. Terrific! I think we all should follow her. She's got a great idea. Was 83 degrees here today and still 75. Amazing weather.

I laughed outloud when I read your comment. I am having to fight the blues with serious focus -- not getting to attend the NW Blip Meeting is quite a downer. I have a free flight there (Saturday), but cannot get the same for going home on Sunday evening and staying over two nights is too much. And almost $300 to fly home is crazy. When I originally thought I'd come, I figured I could fly up early morning and home late evening and not be gone overnight. Nothing is ever that simple. Southwest has "blacked" out Sunday because, the telephone clerk tells me, of spring break. Our spring break doesn't happen till an entire week after Easter, so I was caught off-guard by that. So there will be a next time. Meanwhile, I'm not going to get depressed. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not! ;-) Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka

  4. I'd still have my jacket on! ( wimp that I am!) it was like 85 degrees here today. So much for winter! Great action shot!

  5. Ah, the joys of youth. Nice shot.

Thanks for your comment. As a foretaste of what you can expect regarding beaches near Jacksonville, check out this link:
