Sunday 5 October 2008 : A lightshow worthy of aliens

A splendid lunch today in Stanford - 20km south of Hermanus, the whale watching capital of the World.

I spotted this amazing reflection while waiting of no.1 daughter to arrive and the first glass of wine hadn't been poured - after that it would have been missed completely ;-)

It was weird - the early afternoon sun was so bright and produced such an unearthly reflection. If I had reached over the hedge and shot my pic, it would have just looked like a bright, white wall...
