Wednesday 19 June 2013: Time

on my hands. Well the key to time at any rate.
Today I thought I'd give you a little insight into how I create my images (though I'll miss out the angst, depression and copious alcohol abuse - you can all manage that yourselves).
First take your shot This can be of anything but if it looks like you've given it thought or possibly a hidden meaning all the better.
Then tweak it. giving it that contrasty look I like so much.I use Nik Efex software for nearly all my work.
Then change it's colour You know me and the Dark side. I love colour. I first started out taking only bright colourful pictures on 35mm transparency film but soon realised that it was a monochrome world I saw (and a contrasty one at that).
Finally tweak it a bit more (though I quite liked the result in Step Three - let me know what you think)
And Bobs your Uncle.
Fannys your Aunt.

It's grey outside and I've got the ironing to do.
