Saturday 21 April 2012: Flowering tree

Many of the flowering trees -- various sorts of ornamental apples and plums -- came out ridiculously early this year because of the warm weather at the end of March. But then it got colder and instead of the usual flash in the pan behavior, they are hanging around for weeks, looking lovely.
