Silky waters, yay!!

Chicks Road Trip - Day 2

Firstly, a huge thank you for your response to yesterday's autumn colours, I couldn't believe it when it was in spotlight within an hour and reached no 1 before bedtime. An all time record....it's sat there or there abouts for the 24 hours.

We've had such an amazing day. We have been on a photography course/field trip/photo safari up the Rees Valley. (way west from Glenorchy)
I've learnt so much using the camera settings/picture styles, then making the picture work while adjusting with live view.
All a new scenario for me. I even used raw + jpg today.....another learning curve for me.

The Rees Valley was a picture of autumn colours, the vast landscapes were gob smackingly stunning, old musters huts, cattle and merino sheep wandering about, bubbling mountain streams, old sheep yards but in the end I've gone for something quite different from yesterday, a lovely waterfall that we had to practice mountain goat climbing to get there and coming down on our backsides....all in the name of self preservation.

Tomorrow we are off to a sheep station to do some sheep and shearing photography. Again something different.
