Monday 17 June 2013: Blip Box to the rescue

Rain, rain, rain.
Flooding, flooding, flooding.
Road closures, road closures.
Stranded people, animals...it's just awful

We have had over 100mm of rain since yesterday morning, converted that is 4 inches or there abouts.....sodden!!

Into the blip box - Pheasant feathers!!

Convention meeting postponed, four of the committee live out of town - just too risky.
On a brighter note our website is up and running and we are also on Facebook - social media rocks!!

Hope we will see my blip friends from Marlborough, Nelson, Murchison, Christchurch, Wanaka and any others (Adelaide friends) that want to visit a slice of paradise, a field trip to a high country station, fantastic presenters and much more. Fun, laughter, conversation, learning experiences - a weekend not to be missed.
