Tuesday 14 May 2013: Rescue mission

Came home tonight with the idea of getting a few things done. Wanted to get the dive kit washed and the kitchen emptied so I could start decorating tomorrow night.

Managed to get the dive kit washed but that was as far as it went. While we were diving on Saturday J found a nice shell she liked. After checking there were no occupants it was put into her pocket. While I was unpacking the kit I found the box she had put it in to protect it. At the bottom of the box was also the very small editable crab that had apparently been using the shell as a home and cover. Turns out J didn't look so well after all. Not so much of a stowaway but more of a kidnap victim.
Had some tea and then an emergency trip to Leith to see if the little feller had survived. Unfortunately not.

Went and collected J " the crab killer" from work as she had been working late.
