Friday 25 May 2012: Morning view across town
A view of town I see every day, on the way back from the morning school run, although not often in such good light. The traffic jam is a regular feature at that time of day as well; we often count the cars as we walk/scoot up the hill.
In the distance you can see several of Shrewsbury's landmark buildings - the railway station, castle and the prison are all there if you know what to look for. Further back is Haughmond Hill. Note also the yellow sign on the left - probably just legible on large - for the Olympic torch relay next week which is very conveniently coming within about 100 yards of my house. It won't be a big surprise if that is the subject of next Wednesday's blip.
