Wednesday 30 September 2009: proposing
So I figured my relationship with Nicole started because of blip and our mutual hobby of picture taking. I think it's fitting to have a proposal be photographed.
To give you a run-down, I had to go to court today because of my accident. (Which long story short is, the other people didn't show up, but since they were "injured" I have to go back in November)
The other day we looked at rings after apartment hunting. Essentially she found one that she liked and we talked about it. I was a bit hesitant and told her I wasn't going to get it. So as I walked back into the store I told the representative to "go ahead and do it" and Nicole had no idea.
Nicole took the day off work as support for my court date and we went downtown earlier than she wanted to. ("Why do we have to go so early?") We grab some food and I tell her I want to go to the bean. ("Uhh why do you we have to go there? ughh")
So I pretend that we're just gonna take a regular picture on self-timer. And bam.
The picture above happens. So that is her real reaction of utter disbelief.
Oh and she said yes.
