Rory is growing his first plant,
a tomato plant
He told me it grows very slowly, so you can't see it growing...
but if you are a away for a while and come back it's a lot bigger.
I think that shows a certain 'truth' in how people work as well
We have a tendency to over estimate what they can do in the short term... however we also totally under estimate what we can achieve in the long term.
Doing a little bit every day doesn't look like much in the short term, but over a week or two it looks like massive progress.
I can relate... blip is a bit like that.
