About Scintilla

I've been living for the last 4 years in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough in Alaska with my wife, teenage daughter, Corgi dog, and three shelter cats. Blipfoto was brought to my attention by a colleague of mine (chaos) after finding out that I have a passing interest in photography and recruited me to join. I love a good picture, and I'm hoping the forced discepline to create a new image every day will help me create some nice shots to share.

Update 12 June 2011: When I originally joined Blipfoto I was determined to do a year of entries without interruption which I accomplished. I tapered off and allowed my photography to lay fallow for a while. I'm trying to amp it up a bit to get myself out of a funk that started with breaking my leg in February. I'm proud that I recruited my brother to Blipfoto who has become a far more substantial contributor than I have been.
