Monday 20 May 2013: Au revoir Grandmère
Mum left today for an adventure in York. I absolutely hate it when she leaves. I drove her to Dunbar, where, due to some confusion with the carriages we said a very hurried goodbye. It was probably best that way as I would have cried on the platform. Instead I had a wee weep in the car before driving home.
Rowan and I got caught in a torrential downpour in Gifford en route to picking Murron up. It was rather exciting. The streets were like rivers. Amazing.
