MonoMonday: mailboxes

As soon as I learned that this week's theme is mailboxes, I knew I would blip these mailboxes that I pass by on my daily commute.

Every day, twice a day, for months, I have wondered just what the purpose of the 9 ft mailbox might be.

This evening, as I got out of my car and approached the boxes on foot I was able to see the writing on the box that wasn't visible from my car as I whizzed by...

Too funny. Not sure how the mailman was supposed to get up that high, but the point is made, nonetheless.
