About Me and my GF1

I am a 34-year-old translator, living and working in the beautiful city of Verona, in northern Italy.

I've always been taking lots of pictures of the usual stuff - pets, holidays, flowers, landscapes - but since I got my Panasonic GF1 in December 2009, my interest in photography has taken a new turn. After a film SRL and several years using point-and-shoot digital cameras, the image quality and the possibilities provided by this micro4/3 camera have literally blown me away.

With this journal I will try to take one decent shot a day and hopefully improve my eye and technique over time. I don't claim to produce artistic photos but I'd like to convey the beauty around me. I prefer critique to silence so please leave your comments!
