Oh the flower picture is beautiful. I know there are a lot of flower pictures out there and some are just right and some are not. This one is just right. It's the light, composition and dof

The deer picture is very nice too, but that is more because it's more difficult to get a deer in the picture. The little bit of deer kind off distracts. If you would crop it into a vertical picture, with the deer slightly to the left side of the picture, it would be a far stronger image. Just my friendly opinion.

~ shiny   @shiny...Thank you for the feedback. The flower picture was my favorite also, but having blipped a QA lace the previous day, I decided to post the deer. I agree with your suggestion to crop the deer. Here is the result. What do you think?

~ KathGordon   Well, both of these blips are lovely but I think you chose the right one. I have NEVER seen a deer this close in the wild and you are right it was posing just for you! The cropped version is even better. Altogether a great success.
