About a beep in the forest
Geek of linux, databases, python; photographer of Scotland's landscapes; liberal/progressive; basically Christian.
I started using blipfoto to coincide with a new camera and a new photographic project: intimate landscape details, little things that catch my - or the dogs' - eye every morning. All in the same uniform, black and white, "product"-lighting style. That project is now complete and the book duly published.
As of mid-July 2011, I'm heading down a more processed, artistic, path: the staple style, during week-days, will be monochrome or duotone, square format, forestry details; light may well be permitted.
I let myself out most weekends to shoot other stuff.
In other places I do use colour; my main work is wider landscape of Scotland and the UK:
