Monday 15 March 2010: Cupcake II
There's probably some deep psychological meaning that says a lot about my mental state when I make cupcakes. Sometimes I just get the need to make them and it's more about making them than eating them. Although that's a pretty good after effect. Normally I'm more into chocolate chips or coconut but tonight was a definitely pink cupcake night.
Now I'm sitting with one of them and a cup of tea watching Glee. Life is good.

Wow - looks delicious! There's a whole industry grown up around cupcakes now - was in a shop the other day and there was a whole wall dedicated to books, cutters, decorations, moulds etc etc - amazing!

They do look lovely....full of wheat though...

A fellow cupcake maker today! And mine weren't destined for me. They're for a nursery cake sale and I was glad of the excuse as, like you, I love the making of them. Though there's a lot to be said for eating them too!

Cupcakes are definitely one of those underestimated, but essential, underpinnings of society.....don't argue, just go with the flow! (er......any leftovers?)

i believe cupcakes are good for the soul :) ...both making them and eating them!

Lovely shot and I so know what you mean, baking is very theraputic, especially when it's raining outside and warm and cakey inside - we call them 'witch in the cherry tree' days (if you never read that book as a child, you must!)

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm cupcakes...
I have to admit, I make a point of 'spotting' bad parking rather obviously in the hope, more often than not, that the owner of the poorly parked vehicle will see...
