Tuesday 19 July 2011: Flying Fabric

I felt so blessed to be so close to this great blue heron as she launced herself into the air. It was an amazing moment, for sure. I was recently canoeing on Roung Lk with my son Tae near Algonquin Park when we encounter this bird. We were about 12 ft when it took flight. What a beautiful site. I would love to still be there, now.
