Friday 12 March 2010: kids

I sat behind these 2 little boys on the streetcar today. They were so young and precious and innocent. I looked around for their parent but couldn't see anyone who had their eye on them.
Independent children these days. Where has the time gone?

2. It's true, they're very little. But I remember shuttling off to music lessons across town when I was just 7 -- two buses -- and I did it on my own! Also walked to kindergarten solo, which was about 8 blocks through inner city Winnipeg. It was kinda the norm then, and seems to be coming back into vogue?
