Wednesday 17 March 2010: RC Fun
The gorgeous weather continued today and I took advantage and headed out for a lunch blip. My journey led me to a nearby remote control airplane airfield. I decided to blip the models and to try out the 7D's new autofocus system.
I took numerous shots and was very happy with the results. The vast majority of shots were sharp and in focus. Yay!
This is one of my favorites and the airplane is flying across in front of me. I like how it fills the frame and is positioned to the left. Also note that the body of the plan is very thin. This is a design feature of this aircraft.

Yep, I want one.
I have a RC boat but it is electric power not as fast as a petrol engine.

Marvellous shot and well sharp. Do you have 70-200 f4 L on there (think I recall you having one).
