I joined blipfoto to keep in touch with my friend Bighill. Since then I've become hooked into recording my thoughts and sharing my sights and meeting all of the wonderful people here on a daily basis. This community has so enriched my life.

Photography is new to me, or it least it still feels new. (Edit: Even after a year it still feels new.) I got a camera to record the occasional inspiring sight and to my surprise, I haven't been able to stop clicking away since. I'm seeing the world in a new light and I'm enjoying learning by doing and by playing.

What else can I say about me?

I love birding and nature even though I live in the middle of a big city. I work in an office and stare out of my window a lot. I have a great husband who only occasionally gets annoyed at the amount of time I spend on blip and taking photographs. I have a teenage son which is an education in itself. And I spend quite a lot of time relaxing on my couch watching junky reality TV.
