Academic living and working in York. Blipping a bit intermittent - when I am busy trying to help a Department or a University or even an HE system function effectively, I have little time to take photos. But I do travel a fair bit which adds some variety.

Terrible at small talk and consequently at commenting on others' Blips. Sorry. I do look and enjoy but rarely feel moved to words.

The 'avatar' is me at the Apartheid Museum in Jo'burg. The rocks symbolise forced labour in gold mines and the long thin mirrors subtly insert the viewer into the scene.
