Friday 17 May 2013: A flight in the museum
Every few months the National Museum of Scotland runs a Late Night event where the museum is opened up to adults only, the main hall is transformed into a music venue and bar and there are themed events. This time it was dinosaurs with quite a few people getting into the swing of things by dressing up as reptiles, cavemen (not historically accurate) or even explorers.
One of the benefits of these nights is the absence of kids (well not the small annoying variety, there were plenty of grown-up kids) which allows you to take the odd photo or two without being bumped into. I love this shot because of it's Escher type feel to it. Is the plane plummeting towards the earth or is it flying along a corridor?
This could be an entry for the Weekly Blip Challenge theme of FLIGHT
