About Simple Scenes

Those who know me often refer to me as a "perceptive" person; the kind who wants to see rather than be seen, and listen rather than be listened to. I love photography because it is an art of discovery as well as a venue for creativity. It's like having an intimate conversation with time and space, finding a connection with the external. That which is beholden becomes a reflection of the beholder.

The purpose of this journal would mostly be for my own indulgence in a hobby that brings me joy. However, there are scenes and sights that I would also like to share in public, such that they might appreciate and receive the communication of the art that forever surrounds us.
