Thursday 9 August 2012: Pareidolia

The human brain is geared up to see and recognise faces - so much so that we look at patterns of objects or lines or light and shade, and see a face where there's nothing. I mean srsly, I can still see what looks like a face on this wall I walked past this afternoon.
