About Thomas ten Cate

Hi, I'm Thomas. I'm a 23 years old student in Computing Science at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, but currently I'm doing my Master's thesis at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.

Tools: I have a simple Canon PowerShot A510 compact, but recently upgraded to a Canon EOS 40D with the 17-85mm kit lens and a 50mm f/1.8. I use no other tools except of course Lightroom and occasionally Photoshop.

Goals: I will try to upload only pictures that I'm reasonably happy about, so I will probably not post daily. My goal in blipping is to learn, so any feedback (be it positive or negative) is very much appreciated! My current objective is to get the hang of my new SLR camera.

Personality: Honest. If I like something, I'll say so. If I do not like something, I'll say so too. I try to be as constructive as possible and do not intend to offend anyone.

Small print: I retain the copyright to any images I upload to blipfoto.com. If you want to use any of my pictures, I'd be honoured and probably give you permission and full-res versions, but please ask me first.
