Sunday 11 May 2008 : Happy Mother's Day Mum......

It's Mother's Day in New Zealand but, because I'm 12000 miles away from mine, I can't give her a hug :(

I did tell her this morning though that I would blip a special flower for her today. Fortunately the red rose I'd had my eye on for a couple of days was still doing well enough to have it's piccy taken.

A good job I did it when I did too - we've just a cold blast pass over us dumping rain (maybe even hail?) and dropping the temperature by what feels a lot of degrees. I'm not so sure the rose would have looked quite so nice after that!! Amazing contrast to this morning when I was sitting outside in the garden reading!

Anyway, have a great day Mum - this blip is all for you.
