About Barking

I'm originally from Devon, UK. I now live in Christchurch, New Zealand with my partner (aka Canterbury) and our Hungarian Vizsla, Cousteau.

I have joined Blip as I would like to improve my photography skills (somehow between setting up the perfect shot and taking it something gets lost), and also would like to keep a photo journal of the love of my life (Cousteau) so that my family in the UK can keep up with what's going on with us.

In addition, I am a Blip widow so as the adage goes, if you can't beat them ...

My first blip

20/08/08 - One year on and I'm still enjoying posting a pic every day. I see this as an outlet for my poetry as well as my photographs.

My family in the UK look at my blip most days, as do some of my friends around the globe.

I have the occasional day when I can't think of what to post but for the most part, my blips just happen.

I'm enjoying photographing Cousteau and feel that he gets something out of it as well.

Still here, still going strong.
