About Dreaming Tree

Several months ago I was introduced to Blipfoto by a friend. Since then I have spent a lot of time online looking at images and reading journals. I am intrigued and fascinated in many ways...here are just two...

I am passionate about photography. It is my outlet. I've been shooting since I was young but only recently have gotten serious about it. I consider myself a semi-professional as it is more than a hobby, but I'm not yet ready to quit my day job.

I love the idea of keeping a journal. I've always wanted to keep a journal, but have never been disciplined enough to do it. I think journals, diaries, letters, etc. are important. What would we know of our past if it weren't for journals, diaries and letters (and photographs)?

So, here's a fabulous opportunity and challenge for me to improve my photography skills, boost myself out of my routine and comfort zone, learn something about the world around me, and become a better communicator.
