Hello. My name is Joe and I live and work in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Blipfoto.com started life on 21 October 2004 as my personal photo diary. I set out to take and upload a picture every day and, aside from two days, I have managed it ever since.

When Blipfoto was just mine, people kept asking me how they could set up something similar. I soon realised that there wasn't anything out there that fitted the bill, so we launched this version in July 2006.

I don't often have anything of interest to say, but I do try and take an interesting picture every day. If you're interested, you can see more of my interesting images here and here. You can also buy my stock photographs here.

Current arsenal of photographic equipment includes a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1 - a fantastic wee camera that's small enough to carry just about anywhere but good enough quality if you happen to catch anything good, a Canon EOS 5D - an (almost) affordable full-frame DSLR which is (almost) small enough to keep with you most of the time, and a Canon EOS 1D MKII which is far too big to carry anywhere and makes people look at you like you're some kind of paparazzi freak.
