This is me throwing caution to the wind and allowing myself to explore an artform that has always captivated me. Breaking away from the stunting intimidation of watching professionals (especially my fiance) doing something that I have always loved to dabble in. Taking pictures to capture moods, memories, simple beauty...

I have always shot frame after frame, in the moment just feeling happy about the process, yet not really knowing what it was that I would find interesting or intriguing about the end result. One gem is all I need. Who knows, this journal may help me to develop a new outlook, acquire new skills and make new discoveries about what I consider to be art. At the bare minimum, I will take pictures again. That's what matters...
