About No Such Thing

I grew up in the Instamatic/Polariod/8mm/Acetate film era. My first real camera was an Olympus OM-1 which I still own and have passed onto my older son who is also a blipper. Now my younger son has also joined the frey.

I've always loved taking photos for the pleasure of it. I find myself often looking at the world around me in terms of how it would look as a piece of photographic artwork. In this crazy, hectic, fast paced, over achieving world in which we live, its nice to find places like blipfoto to express yourself though photography for the sheer delight of it in an environment with others who enjoy the same thing. I spend much of my day working in NYC and walking though the streets. My goal is to find an interesting subject each day to capture and demonstrate to myself that "..something's better on the other side...".
