About Hebs Journal

I'm a teacher. I love my job. Just thought I'd say - because many people seem to think that teachers do nothing but complain, and that we don't like teaching!!!!

Photography is my other 'thing' - I pretty much am glued to my camera - in fact I suspect my partner finds it quite annoying!

I've been interested in photography since I was young, and have been influenced heavily by my Dad who was (and still is) a superb amateur photographer and so I was surrounded by cameras, filters, flash guns and thousand and thousands of photos when I was so much younger than I am now! (Back in the days before digital - when photography meant getting it right, having it developed and no chance of redemption through digital trickery).

Since joining blip a few months back, I find that I am far more observant and see more opportunities for photos - my horizons are broadening. And I have to say, that there are some absolutely amazing people on blip, who are talented, funny and so lovely - its a great place to drop in to everyday.
