About My Last Year of College

I am an artist, photographer, and art historian. After six years of full-time study, I will conclude my BFA in Multimedia and BA in Art History in May of 2008, at the age of 43. Formal education has always been important to me, but until 2001, I was unable to arrange my life in a way that included university study.

Life at home includes a wonderful husband of 25 years, our 17-year-old son, who will also be graduating this May, and three kitties. My other loves include Jesus Christ, our Colorado wilderness, photography, and spending time with my friends and family.

I will be keeping this photographic journal for the next 12 months, documenting instants in my life through word and image. It's an exercise in discipline that will teach me to daily look at life anew and to notice that which often goes unseen.
