Shawn Coulman, born in Middlesborough, 1978. Cancerian, non-smoker, media graduate, cat owner, qualified teacher (non-practicing) and resident of the lovely city of Edinburgh.

Have been taking pictures my whole life. Was given a Canon A1 for my 16th birthday and have remained loyal and now use an eos 400d. Bit too big to carry round so had to resort to crappy mobile phone pics sometimes, but now have a little second hand canon ixus II, which can get slightly better results...

...am inspired by the high standard, creativity or just sheer randomness of blip, all of which I aspire to.
