About The Pheonix rises

Always been interested in taking photos that are slightly different from the rest. Spent every penny I had on my first camera, a Pentax spotmatic at the age of 14. Now slightly older and a wee bit wiser, I am getting back in the habit.

I love Scotland and the Scots. Biased I may be, but we do live in a wonderful land. Blip is just one more thing to recommend Scotland to the world, thanks to Joe and G and all the blipetts.

It is just wonderful to sit in my rocking chair and travel the world and see some fantastic photography and read some amusing and entertaining blogs from complete strangers, that I know.
( Well you know what I mean).
