About Camera-Shy

I live in Northampton at weekends and live during the week in Manchester.
Outside my office is a duck-pond and the flight-path to Manchester Airport, both of which have furnished me with blips.
Before blipfoto, I'd never done any digital photography, and my short experience a long time ago with film was seriously constrained by a very tight budget.

There are two reasons I do this:

1. To create a diary for me and my family
2. To improve my photography

I'm currently using a Canon EOS 400D and a Lumix FX01, but recently have bought a second-hand EOS 1Ds as a cheap(ish) entry into the full-frame arena.

I spend most of my time carting a heavy camera-bag around and trying to work out where the next blip is coming from. The rest of the time I try to do my job.
There is no time left over for sleeping, family, gym, TV, DIY or enjoyment.
I have no internet connection in my Manchester house - come to that, I have no kitchen either - which means I have to do my blipping at work. I am often the last to leave the building.
