About Emma's Ho Hum Day

I am a 37 year old nurse. I choose to work with young people in the city of Edinburgh in sexual health education. My life is good. I'm glad I'm not a teenager anymore; I now know that I don't know everything. I explore life with my partner Katie and my fabulous friends who I am very lucky to have. My dad was a great photographer and I guess I'm hoping I have some of his talent. I miss my dad every day. He was the sort of person you could ask a question and he would be able to answer it, however obscure e.g. "What's a wankel rotary engine dad?" My mum is an extremely talented painter, so I hope I have as good an eye as she does.
I am so looking forward to this process of seeing my life in pictures and seeing the improvement of the pictures I take, hoping you will enjoy them too.
