About Vacationland

Maine, affectionately referred to as Vacationland. Or as a friend of mine once said "Maine is like one gigantic campground." She's just jealous because it truly is spectacular all four seasons.

Originally from California, we love our adopted state. The winters are still a bit too much for my taste, but the other three seasons more than make up for it. When the warm months arrive, we pretty much live outside enjoying every last minute of it.

I'm sure this journal will be filled with alot of garden photos in the warm months, and anything else I find interesting. I particularly like alot of texture and shadows.
I'm not a purist in any sense of the word. I don't fiddle around with my camera too much and capture what I like or what interests me at the moment.
