Almost gone

Once again the south of the city woke up to the white stuff. Although there was a significant blanket, the fall eased as the morning wore on. I kitted myself out in thermals, wellies and multiple layers to meet some friends for lunch further east, only to find I looked like some country bumpkin; no snow had fallen there so my outdoor gear looked out of place among the high heels and city rags.

Arthur's Seat had all but disappeared in the low cloud so I took myself up to the Observatory again on the way home to blip my favourite view of the city. Bleak but still a great scene.
