Lampros

What a difference 12 hours makes. Last night I was close to taking a step back from Blip for a while. It seems to be getting harder and harder to find something to upload everyday and frankly, yesterday the whole thing felt like a chore not a pleasure. I think this showed in everything I shot and when I got home and looked properly at the pictures absolutely nothing screamed 'use me, use me' so I thought, 'that's it - time for a break'. Then this morning, with renewed vigour (I don't know where that came from!), I set out a bit earlier than usual, went a little out of my way and found some 'new' things to snap.

Having said that, today's Blip is not a 'new' thing, in fact we've seen him before in this picture and his shop in this one. This is Lampros, from the front this time. As I approached him this morning he was sitting down, having a rest before tackling the final part of the ascent to his shop. By the time I was close enough to say 'Kalimera' he had stood up and I didn't have the heart to ask him to sit down again to get a shot of him resting. I don't know when I'll catch him again as I don't often see him in the mornings which is why I chose to upload him today - the new things can wait, they'll still be there tomorrow.
