Speckled sea

Another fantastic day, with beautiful blue skies; lots of frost on the ground, though.

And here's the surprising thing. The sea had ice on it today. Genuine ice. It hasn't happened here for over 50 years.

I thought that it was seaweed, and it was only after taking lots of shots that someone at school asked me if I had seen the ice on the sea.
We also had a fantastic sunset tonight, and afterwards my friends and I threw a surprise dinner at a local restaurant for Jill and Peter's 40th. wedding anniversary. A great day and a great evening.

So....... again, spoilt for choice.

But I liked the speckled (historic) sea.
